The Challenge

In New York City, grabbing a late-night slice is part of the culture. But with hundreds of pizza spots and millions of taste buds, the experience is often limited to whatever is served over the counter. The challenge was to rethink the classic NYC slice as something customizable and expressive, especially for younger, on-the-go audiences looking to make everyday experiences feel more personal.

The Solution

Drip is a New York–inspired pizza finishing sauce brand designed for people who treat food like an extension of personal style. Built around the idea of “accessorizing your slice,” the brand transforms sauce from a simple condiment into a form of self-expression.

The name “Drip” references Gen-Z slang associated with style and individuality, connecting fashion culture with food culture. The visual identity draws heavily from New York street aesthetics, using bold typography, layered sticker-inspired bottle labels, and references to slap-tagging culture found throughout the city. The system extends beyond packaging into a collectible, lifestyle-driven product experience. Portable keychain sauce bottles and customizable sticker elements allow peple to carry and personalize their sauces like accessories, reinforcing the idea that customization can exist both in what you eat and how you present yourself. Through branding, packaging, and product design, Drip reimagines the late-night pizza ritual as something expressive, playful, and uniquely personal.

The System

The logo is custom typography that showcases a seamless flow of letters forming the word Drip, inspired by the visual of a liquidy, spreadable sauce. The labels are slap-tagging inspired stickers that conrained varied information such as flavor profiles, ingredients, brand story, calories, etc., with a gen-z tone of voice.

Because the label is a collage of stickers, the typefaces vary based on the nature of the information and legibility. The colors represent unique flavors of the sauces that are easily imaginable by people and can taste the flavors immigiently by just looking at the packaging.
